Paragon Exteriors replaces Bay Head roofs with a full tear-off, 130 mph wind-rated fastening, and stainless or hot-dipped hardware built for salt air off both the Atlantic and Barnegat Bay. Two waterfronts, one spec
Bay Head is a few blocks wide almost everywhere, so salt doesn’t approach your roof from one side — it wraps it. Our replacement spec assumes that:
- Full tear-off to the deck — never a layover over tired shingles
- Deck inspection with rot swapped and photographed before it’s covered
- Ice & water shield at eaves, valleys, and dormer cheeks; synthetic underlayment everywhere else
- 130 mph architectural shingles, six nails each, hand-sealed edges on exposed slopes
- Stainless or hot-dipped fasteners and new flashing throughout — reused flashing is how coastal roofs fail early
- Ridge venting matched to your attic’s actual intake

Built-in-1895 is a different job than built-in-2015
